Grupul Danone isi va modifica reclamele la iaurturile Activia si Actimel, dupa ce a anuntat ca renunta la incercarea de a obtine recunoasterea efectelor benefice asupra sanatatii generate de consumul celor doua produse, anunta AFP.

In raportul trimestrial privind veniturile, gigantul francez a precizat ca a retras de la Autoritatea europeana pentru securitatea alimentelor (EFSA) solicitarea prin care incerca sa obtina recunoasterea oficiala a presupuselor efecte benefice asupra sanatatii.

Actiunile Danone au scazut cu peste 1% pe bursa din Paris dupa acest anunt, in ciuda faptului ca grupul a anuntat o crestere a veniturilor in primul trimestru de 8,3%, pana la 3,9 miliarde euro.

Danone isi motiveaza decizia prin "lipsa de claritate si vizibilitate in ceea ce priveste aplicarea reglementarilor europene" din domeniu.

In prezent, Danone isi promoveaza cele doua branduri de iaurt sub asertiunile ca Activia rezolva problemele de tranzit intestinal lent iar Actimel contribuie la intarirea apararii naturale a organismului.

EFSA nu a confirmat deocamdata niciuna dintre pretentiile companiei, iar reclamele grupului au fost deja modificate in Franta.

In februarie, Autoritatea europeana a decis ca afirmatiile Danone, potrivit carora un ingredient denumit Immunofortis, prezent in produsele destinate copiilor, contribuie la intarirea sistemului imunitar nu sunt sustinute stiintific.

"Dovezile furnizate sunt insuficiente pentru a stabili o legatura cauza-efect intre consumul de Immunofortis si un raspuns imunitar pozitiv", au concluzionat oamenii de stiinta ai agentiei.

Danone a avut probleme si in Marea Britanie din cauza promovarii unor produse pe linia efectelor pozitive asupra sanatatii. Autoritatea britanica in domeniul publicitatii a admis patru plangeri legate de lipsa de acuratete a unor reclame calificate drept inselatoare. Cel mai recent caz a fost in octombrie 2009 si se referea la Actimel.

Danone: Decizia de retragere a dosarelor este logica si pragmatica

Danone Romania precizeaza, intr-un comunicat de presa, ca decizia de a retrage dosarele depuse la EFSA este "logica si pragmatica", fiind motivata de o serie de factori, printre care dificultatile inregistrate in implementarea Regulamentului European.

"Tinind cont de lipsa de transparenta in aplicarea regulamentului European privind mentiunile de nutritie si sanatate asociate alimentelor, si de recentul anunt privind o noua reuniune organizata de EFSA la 1 iunie cu scopul clarificarii criteriilor si regulilor de evaluare, divizia de produse lactate proaspete a decis, ca o urmare logica, sa retraga 2 dosare depuse in conditiile articolului 13.5 din regulament (pentru Activia si Actimel), dosare pentru care opinia EFSA era asteptata in urmatoarele saptamini", potrivit sursei citate.

Grupul sustine ca decizia nu produce efecte asupra vinzarilor, iar "maniera de comunicare pentru Activia si Actimel va fi adaptata cerintelor ce vor fi formulate, astfel incit aceasta sa fie conforma cu Regulamentul, pina la sfirsitul perioadei de tranzitie, in sept 2010".

Scandal în SUA: Produsele Activia şi Actimel de la Danone nu au beneficiile pretinse

Gigantul producător de iaurturi Danone nu va mai promova în reclamele sale din Statele Unite benefiiciile pentru sănătate, în cazurile Actimel şi Activia, deoarece s-a descoperit că de fapt acestea nu au atributele pretinse.
Potrivit presei britanice, cel mai mare producător de iaurturi din lume a mărturisit că a exagerat în reclamele produselor, care, de fapt, nu au acele beneficii prezentate. Astfel, Danone a fost de acord să nu mai spună în spot-urile de televiziune că Activia îmbunătăţeşte tranzitul intestinal, iar despre Actimel că întăreşte sistemul imunitar.
Danone România a anunţat că românii nu trebuie să-şi facă griji în legătură cu acest scandal, deoarece aici "există o sursă imensă de informaţii, atât în reclamă cât şi pe site şi leaflet-uri, iar studiile există", reprezentantul companiei precizând că în ţară producţia de iaurturi funcţionează sub regulamentul 1924 al Comisiei Europene, diferit de cel din SUA, scrie Adevărul.

Inspectorul sef al OJPC Olt a tinut sa atraga atentia asupra produselor din lapte care poarta renumitele nume Parmalat si Danone: „Am primit sesizari de la cetateni care semnalau ca pe piata sint comercializate produse lactate Parmalat si Danone. Aceste produse contin diferite ingrediente care nu sint cuprinse, de exemplu, in Ordinul nr. 575/1998. Aceste substante, care nu sint prevazute in asemenea documente, sint periculoase pentru organismul uman. In rindul acestor substante care se regasesc in produsele mentionate se numara gelatina si aspartamul.
