(IMG:style_emoticons/default/nusepoate.gif)

Io asa stiu.

Fascia pectoralis e = fascie profunda situata deasupra muschiului pectoral mare, pe fata anterioara a toracelui. Cine a formulat intrebarea habar nu avea. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Si numele e aproape in romaneste... fascie- fascicula, \
pectorals: pectoralii da mascul care ieste... Tss~!

QUOTE

Sometimes, in massive gynecomastia, an en bloc resection of excessive skin and breast tissue and free nipple grafting can be performed (see Image 8).
Preoperatively, outline the incision and estimate the thickness and depth of fat and breast tissue to be removed. Extend the dissection to thepectoralis major fascia; excise the fat and breast tissue from this fascia. Achieve hemostasis, and, possibly, insert a catheter to prevent postoperative hematoma.

STROPHIUM ii tot in latina; in greaca - ταινία/ tenia/panglica, ταινίδιον/ tenidion/fisie, ἀπόδεσμος/apodesmos- petrecuta sau mastodeton (in greaca/fonetic/traducer) was a girdle or belt worn by women round the breast and over the inner tunic or chemise (Non. XIV.8: tereti strophio luctantes vincta papillas, Catull. LXIV.65). It appears from an epigram of Martial (XIV.66) to have been usually made of leather (Becker, Gallus, vol. I p321).
Tenia= panglica.
Strophion worn under the bust.

Cica istoria sutienului"
The History of the Bra

2000 BC The Corset can be traced back to about 2000 BC. It was open at the front to the waist, leaving the breasts uncovered. Small strips of leather round the waist were used to curve round the outline of the breasts.

2500 BC Back in 2500 B.C., warrior Minoan women on the Greek isle of Crete began wearing a bra-resembling garment, shoving their bare breasts upward and exposed their naked breasts from their clothing!

450BC-285AD The Greeks wore a bodice tied above the breasts, leaving the breasts naked. The wearing of corsets was prohibited so they used "the Apodesme" which was a small band of material wrapped round the breast, largely for functional reasons - to prevent the breasts moving when walking. The Roman women adopted the apodesme as worn by the Greeks, but the name was changed to "mamillare", "fascia" etc. Young women wore the fascia to prevent the growth of their breasts whilst the mamillare was used to conceal a very large breast.

4th Century AD The Chemise first appeared in the 4th century, was made of linen and looked like a tunic. The Chemise was gathered into a round or square neckline. It was frequently embroidered and finished with a frill. At that time they usually had long sleeves and were finished with wrist ruffles.

In France women wore the "Bandeau" after Caesar's conquest of Gaul. In the 12th century women wore the "basquine" which was a sort of corset in rigid fabric surrounding the waist. About a century later the gourgandine (hussy) or bodice is worn on top of a corset.

n 1889 Herminie Cadolle of France invented the first modern bra, a two-piece undergarment called le bien-être (the wellbeing). The lower part was a corset for the waist, the upper supporting the breasts by means of shoulder straps. By 1905 the upper half was being sold separately as a soutien-gorge (breast support), the name by which bras are still known in France. Cadolle's business (http://www.cadolle.com) is still going strong.

In America, Mary Phelps Jacob was granted the first U.S. patent for the brassiere (nr 1,115,674), in 1913. She was aided in this work by her French maid, Marie. Her invention is most widely recognized as the predecessor to the modern bra. She sold the patent to the Warner Brothers Corset Company in Bridgeport, Connecticut, for $1,500 (or over $25,600 in today's money). Warner eventually made an estimated $15 million off Caresse's patent.

In 1922, Ida Rosenthal, a seamstress at the small New York City dress shop, Enid Frocks, along with shop owner Enid Bissett and husband William Rosenthal, changed the look of women's fashion. The "boyish figure" then in style downplayed women's natural curves through the use of a bandeaux brassiere. Their innovation, designed to make their dresses look better on the wearer, consisted of modifying the bandeaux bra to enhance and support women's breasts. Hence, the name "Maidenform". A later innovation is the development of sized brassieres. The company they founded became Maidenform manufacturing company.

Abia astept data viitoare (IMG:style_emoticons/default/indragostita.gif)
