Pentru aluat ai nevoie de 350-400 gr faina (eu imi masor la inceput 400 dar nu o pun niciodata pe toata), 8-10 linguri de apa rece, 200 gr unt rece si putina sare. Se amesteca toate, la inceput arata ca niste cocoloase care nu se vor lega in veci dar dupa 5 minute de framantat ar trebui sa iti iasa un biloi care se deslipeste de pe marginea vasului. Apa sa o pui putin cate putin iar faina sa nu o pui chiar toata de la inceput, mai lasi nitica alaturi ca sa poti sa ajustezi din ochi consistenta aluatului. Pui folie alimentara deasupra si o dai la frigider vreo 40 de minute.

Azi am trantit in graba un fel de "bulz". Bulz original nu am mancat niciodata si din cate stiu sunt multe tipuri de bulz, in functie de zona. Asta a fost doar inspiratia mea de moment:
