Calitatile binefacatoare ale ceaiului verde sunt numeroase:
Ceaiul verde contine antioxidanti care contribuie la cresterea imunitatii si incetinirea imbatranirii; Reduce riscul aparitiei unor afectiuni cardiovasculare; · Contribuie la incetinirea evolutiei anumitor boli, cum ar fi Parkinson; Se asociaza in dietele de slabire deoarece este o bautura placuta, fara calorii si ajuta la "topirea" grasimilor; Inlocuieste cu succes cafeaua, fiind un excelent energizant natural; Consumul zilnic de ceai verde reduce riscul de cancer la stomac, esofag, ficat si previne cancerul de piele; Pastreaza aspectul tanar si finetea pielii. Datorita substantelor antioxidante pe care le contine, ceaiul verde are efecte de regenerare si de protectie a epidermei. Din acest motiv este din ce in ce mai des folosit in compozitia produselor cosmetice. Sfaturi utile: Bea cel putin o ceasca de ceai verde pe zi pentru sanatate, energie si longevitate; Bea 3 cani pe zi de ceai verde daca tii cura de slabire; Ceaiul verde nu se consuma dupa ora 17 deoarece contine cofeina si poate produce insomnie; Se recomanda clatirea gurii cu ceai verde pentru a preveni cariile dentare prin eliminarea bacteriilor; Pentru un ten frumos si netezirea ridurilor fine, se aplica pe fata o compresa calduta pe baza unei infuzii de ceai verde, doua lingurite de miere si doua lingurite de suc de lamaie. The leaves of the camellia sinensis plant contain an array of bioactive substances, but scientific interest is brewing over the medicinal properties of antioxidant polyphenol compounds known as flavonoids. In green, or unprocessed, tea, the most potent are the catechins. As tea leaves are fermented by air exposure to produce black tea, the catechins are transformed into theaflavins and thearubigins. Though all have benefits for brain and body, it may be best to consume a variety of teas. Green Tea * Arthritis: Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) inhibits inflammation, bone erosion, and joint damage from rheumatoid arthritis. * Cancer: Populations that drink green tea have lower rates of cancer. EGCG combats free-radical cell damage and activates p57, a protein that protects healthy cells. * Cholesterol: Lowers total cholesterol and raises good HDL cholesterol. * Intestinal Inflammation: EGCG has potent anti-inflammatory properties that could help treat inflammatory bowel disease. * Liver Disease: Lowers risk of developing liver disorders in men. May also protect liver against damaging effects of alcohol. * Sunburn: EGCG mitigates sunburn reaction. May protect against skin cancer. Black Tea * Bone health: May increase bone mineral density. * Cancer: May reduce risk of many cancers. Theaflavin-3'-monogallate (TF-2) acts as a COX-2 inhibitor to suppress cancer cells. * Cholesterol: Drinking five cups of black tea per day lowers total cholesterol and bad LDL cholesterol. * Heart Disease: Helps lower blood pressure. May reverse endothelial dysfunction; also reduces blood platelet activation. Adding milk to tea cancels the beneficial effect. * Stress: Speeds recovery from stressful events, reducing levels of cortisol and diminishing blood platelet activation. Both * Brain health: Catechins in both green and black tea (although more concentrated in green tea) protect against buildup of amyloid deposits, implicated in Alzheimer's and other age-related neurodegenerative diseases. * Diabetes: Improves glucose tolerance in borderline diabetics. * Oral Health: Rich in fluoride, which protects against cavities. Theobromine found in teas appears to strengthen teeth and protect against cavities better than fluoride. Added to chewing gum, green tea extract protects gum tissue and stimulates salivary glands. * Weight Control: Catechins stimulate thermogenesis, boosting fat metabolism and calorie expenditure. |
